Open test build

Keep saved scores safe during repeat imports

First available on development on 7 September 2026 and promoted to test on 13 September 2026. Repeat imports retain recognised rubber labels and stop blank extracted scores from clearing scores you have already saved. Production is unchanged.

Test promotion

  • Promoted the reviewed development revision to the isolated test environment after the full static, unit, local-browser and disposable Cloudflare release gate passed.
  • Added clearer club-to-team setup handoffs, an explicit public-sharing review, and Schedule cloud-save feedback that stays tied to the submitted roster version.
  • Test promotion does not enable the owner console or Stripe billing. Production remains unchanged.

Results import safeguards

  • Recognised the rubber-label field requested by the AI import prompt so a repeated sheet updates the same rubber.
  • Blocked imports that would replace a saved score with a blank. Remove that row or supply its score; deliberate clearing remains available in the Results editor.
  • Supplied the complete results format to the development Cloudflare reader, including instructions for bookings and ladders. Real scoresheet accuracy and remaining competition formats still require review.

Phone-checklist handoff safeguard

Start with the phone checklist for the development walkthrough. This follow-up keeps the release log from loading roster code before you choose Open app. The full launch-day changes are listed in the preceding release below.

Public-page isolation

  • Disabled background app preloading from the release log so browsing the public checklist and release history does not initialize roster storage.
  • Added browser checks for unintended roster writes and app preloading, including a release-log round trip and reload. This remains a development preview; use a disposable roster for the manual checks.

A clearer captain flow, faithful fixtures and safer saving

The launch-day changes are ready for a development-only phone walkthrough. Start with the phone checklist and use a disposable roster. This is not a production release or a claim that every competition format is certified.

Navigation and first roster

  • Simplified the phone dock to Home, Players, Schedule, Results and More; Settings, Account, Stats and roster switching live together in More.
  • Added a season → players → fixtures → lineup guide and protected early More/password-reset clicks until the page is ready.
  • Added a phone launch checklist with progress saved only in that browser; the private PC dashboard and files stay separate.

Fixtures and imports

  • Fixture previews now show team, season and year, explain keep/clear behavior, and apply the reviewed addresses without a hidden lookup.
  • Improved source-faithful fixture extraction, including street numbers. Two real PDF/image fixture previews passed review; other formats still require checking.
  • Kept no-play dates, finals and spare weeks distinct, preserved their notes on edits, and added scanned-PDF page selection before review.

Lineups and results

  • Made squad requirements explicit and aligned named/custom pairing rules without silently filling restricted teams with ineligible players.
  • Preserved result identities on repeat imports and distinguished normal initial players from emergency fill-ins.
  • Kept unfinished scored rubbers out of completed performance totals while preserving partial input and historical result conventions.

Cloud saving and current limits

  • Paired cloud revisions with their working copies so a stale tab cannot borrow a newer revision to overwrite it; publication checks the preceding save revision.
  • Made failed-save feedback accurate and retained recovery information for safe retries. Export unsent edits before reloading: tabs still share browser storage.
  • Automatic merging, offline/multi-manager collaboration, the remaining import corpus and full competition-format certification are still open. Test and production have not been promoted.

Workspace foundations and import choice

This release prepares the workspace and entitlement foundations for future commercial work, improves import and mobile feedback, and adds a Cloudflare AI import option for development and test evaluation.

Workspace foundations

  • Standardised Local, Community, Captain Cloud and Club Pro workspace vocabulary, with legacy Team Live values kept compatible.
  • Added server-authorised workspace roles, invitations, organisation isolation, entitlement lifecycle records and schedule ownership checks.
  • Added conservative Community cloud-schedule quota checks and retained public-data privacy guards.

Imports and mobile

  • Improved reviewable player, fixture and results imports, including photographed scoresheets and unresolved-name mapping.
  • Fixed mobile navigation and feedback issues reported during the previous release candidate.

Development and test evaluation

  • Added selectable Cloudflare AI imports for development and test while the existing production provider remains unchanged.

Compatibility

  • Defaulted legacy players without a stored roster type to the normal rotation roster type.
  • Updated the application version to 0.2.5-beta.0.

Mobile navigation, results import and support

This release updates the mobile layout, adds reviewable imports from photographed scoresheets, corrects unfinished-rubber labels and completes the signed-in support flow.

Mobile

  • Fixed page content appearing beneath the bottom navigation while scrolling.
  • Fixed the bottom navigation overlapping Android system controls.
  • Moved the roster switcher into the navigation row, reducing the bar from 128px to 79px.
  • Kept toasts, the bug-report button and the sidebar clear of notches and system bars.

Results

  • Added reviewable results drafts from photographed scoresheets, with unresolved player names retained for mapping.
  • Labelled abandoned rubbers as “Not played” or “Partially scored” instead of showing an incorrect result state.

Account and support

  • Added signed-in bug reporting with optional screenshots, privacy-safe diagnostics and GitHub issue creation.
  • Added branded account-verification and password-reset emails.
  • Added email receipts with a TR reference for verified reporters.

Maintenance

  • Updated the application version to 0.2.4-beta.1.
